Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. Who we are

Lumìa is a design studio based in Salento, Southern Italy, producing handcrafted luminous objects. This page explains how we handle personal data collected through this website.

For any question about this policy or your data, write to hello@lumiasalento.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect the data you voluntarily submit through our forms: your first name and email address, and — where relevant — the product or project your enquiry refers to.

We also collect basic, aggregated usage data (pages viewed, products opened, form submissions) to understand which pieces attract interest. This data is not used to identify you personally.

3. Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, to add you to the private launch list if you asked for it, and to send occasional updates about new pieces and openings. We do not sell, rent or trade your data.

The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit a form, and our legitimate interest in responding to commercial enquiries.

4. Analytics and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure how visitors reach us and which pages lead to enquiries. These services may set cookies and process technical data such as your IP address, device and browser.

You can block cookies through your browser settings without losing access to the content of this site.

5. Where your data is stored

Form submissions are stored on our managed cloud database with access restricted to the studio. Data is retained only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a commercial relationship is ongoing.

6. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to withdraw your consent to future communications. Write to hello@lumiasalento.com and we will act within 30 days.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the studio grows. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
